• The artist took part in documenta III, 4 and 6 in 1964, 1968 and 1977.
• With the invention of the "Kopffüßler" in the early 1960s, Antes made a transition from abstraction to figuration in painting and sculpture .
• In these years, Antes also developed completely new pictorial elements that paved the way for his later work.
