Stehender weiblicher Akt von vorne, etwas nach rechts. 1963.
Watercolor.
Monogrammed and dated in the lower right corner. Verso with another nude depiction, “Standing female nude from behind, slightly to the right, arms raised,” also monogrammed and dated in the lower right corner. On wove paper. 76.3 x 25.5 cm (30 x 10 in), the full sheet. [AW].
Full proceeds will go to the Pohlen-Bautz-Holzherr-Foundation.
PROVENANCE: Collection of Prof. Dr. Manfred Pohlen and Dr. Margarethe Bautz-Holzherr, Marburg.
LITERATURE: Christian Dittrich, Werkverzeichnis Curt Querner. Gemälde, Aquarelle, Zeichnungen, Skizzenbücher, Berlin 1984, CR no. B 1178.
In good condition. The right edge of the page is slightly irregularly trimmed. There are faint creases and scuffs on the edges of the pages, as well as a few tiny pinholes.
