Stamped “Atelier André Derain” in the lower right. Inscribed by another hand on the reverse. On lined vellum. 20.5 x 13.4 cm (8 x 5.2 in), size of sheet. [CH].
PROVENANCE: Artist's estate (with estate stamp, Lugt 668 a).

Private collection Günther Förg (acquired from the above in 2001).
Charming little portrait sketch in very good condition. Lined paper. A few small brown spots on the edges of the page. Small traces of paint or studio marks on the left edge of the page. A few small creases on the right corner of the page. Tiny tear in the right edge of the page.
