Lithograph (3) and etching (1).
Each signed (4) and also numbered (2). On laid paper (2) and on wove paper (1) and Japan (1). Sheet up to 68.5 x 53.5 cm (26.9 x 21 in).

LITERATURE: James Hofmaier, Max Beckmann. Catalogue raisonné of his prints, vol. 1 and vol. 2, Bern 1990, CR no. 163 II. B d (Portrait of Reinhard Piper, 1920), 183 B e (Portrait of Reinhard Piper, 1921), 224 B b (Portrait of Dr. Heinrich Simon, 1922), 225 B c (Portrait of the composer Frederik Delius, 1922).
All four sheets in good condition. Somewhat slightly browned and with light edges, small brown spots and occasional foxing, as well as faint handling and crease marks. One sheet has a small tear in the margin (approx. 2 cm, portrait of Dr. Heinrich Simon).
