Mixed media. Gouache with black, yellow, brown and white lacquer.
Lower right monogrammed. On black Aquari laid paper. 50.5 x 64 cm (19.8 x 25.1 in), the full sheet. [AW].

The work is registered in the archive of the Emil Schumacher Foundation, Hagen, under the provisional inventory number 0/3.143; it will be included in the forthcoming catalogue raisonné.

PROVENANCE: Hildegard and Ferdinand Kosfeld Collection (acquired from the above in 1995).

In good condition with beautiful colors. Slightly wavy due to the technique used. Isolated areas of slight craquelure in the impasto areas. Traces of studio work in places. The condition report was prepared in daylight and with the aid of a UV light source to the best of our knowledge and belief.
