Signed, dated, and inscribed “Druckprobe” (proof). Copy outside the edition of 150 copies. On lightweight machine-made cardboard. 33.5 x 47.8 cm (13.1 x 18.8 in). Sheet: 48 x 62 cm (18,8 x 24,4 in).
Printed by F.W. Rhoden, Essen, and published by the Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen, Düsseldorf (annual gift). [AH].

• Based on a photograph of the Teide crater on Tenerife, taken in 1969.
• Subtly atmospheric: Richter’s minimalist visual language creates an evocative interplay of colors.
• In 1971, Richter also explored the “Teyde landscape” in several oil paintings.

Good overall condition, slightly browned overall, with some irregularities along the edges of the pages. A few tiny brown spots, a few fine, superficial scuff marks, and very few irregularities caused by the printing process.
